The Baltimore Ravens lost more than just a game in the season opener vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
LB Kyle Van Noy fractured the orbital bone in his face after Patrick Mahomes landed on him.
Notably, he didn't care for the way the opposing team's medical staff dealt with that injury.
Talking on his McCoy & Van Noy Podcast, he put the Chiefs' medical staff on blast (via Kevin Oestreicher).

He stated that he was very disappointed in the way they handled the situation, adding that it took them a whole quarter to reach out to him and check the injury in the locker room.
Van Noy stated that he was supposed to see a specialist, and he didn't think it was a fair treatment of an opposing player, especially considering how delicate eye injuries can be.
He questioned whether that had to do with the team not wanting him to come back on the field.
Whatever the case, he thought that was simply unacceptable.
If that's the case, then the league might want to check this issue a little further.
The Chiefs should also release some sort of statement about this situation.
Player safety should be of the utmost importance, regardless of if we're talking about a player from a rival team.
Fortunately, things didn't get any worse with Van Noy's injury.
However, there's no timetable for his return yet, and with the physical nature of the game, he might want to take things slowly and not rush his way back.
