Chiefs’ fan confidence
---
After the team’s 27-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City’s fans are even more confident in the team’s direction. Going into Week 2, no other team’s fans are more confident. But it doesn’t take much for fans to lose faith. Before the season began, 91% of the Atlanta Falcons’ fans had confidence in the team. After Atlanta’s 18-10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, it fell to just 24%. The Cincinnati Bengals’ fans were even more appalled by their team’s 16-10 home loss to the New England Patriots. Their confidence plunged from 89% to 17%.
---
Chiefs’ regular-season record
---
Unsurprisingly, the Chiefs’ fans expect the team to turn in a good season. 85% think the team will win at least 13 games — making it a top contender for the AFC’s No. 1 postseason seed.
---
Tight end No. 2
---
When he was selected in the fourth round of 2024’s NFL Draft, many fans believed the team would get substantial contributions from former TCU tight end Jared Wiley during his rookie campaign. But now that fourth-year tight end Noah Gray has been given a contract extension, fans now believe the former Duke star will be the primary backup behind Travis Kelce.
---
The top NFL teams
---
In Week 2, NFL fans across the country were asked to identify the league’s best (and worst) teams. The Chiefs lead the top 10 teams. They’ve already defeated the third-ranked squad. The fourth, fifth and seventh-ranked teams are on the 2024 schedule.
---
The worst NFL teams
---
Two AFC West squads are among those at the bottom of the list. Also included: the Chiefs’ Week 2 opponent.
