After winning back-to-back Super Bowl titles, the Kansas City Chiefs will head into the 2024 NFL season with high hopes of making league history, as they have the potential to become the first team in the NFL to win three straight Vince Lombardi Trophies.
With the chance for the storied franchise to enhance its legacy on an epic scale with another title, the Chiefs want to make sure they have the best roster they can put together before Week 1 to improve their chances of making history with every team in the league gunning for them in 2024.
That said, head coach Andy Reid and his coaching staff need to make the right moves moving forward in order to avoid any problems during the 2024 NFL season, as they will be getting the best effort from every team they face on a weekly basis.
On Monday, the Chiefs announced 12 roster cuts, bringing the franchise closer to finalizing its roster ahead of the Week 1 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens next month.

Unlike some roster cuts that other teams in the league have made recently, the Chiefs didn't make any surprise moves here, even though some wondered why wide receiver Kadrius Toney is still on the squad with the recent signing of veteran wideout JuJu Smith Schuster.
It'll be interesting to see how everything comes together for the Chiefs ahead of their season-opening matchup against the Ravens on September 5 and if Kansas City can avoid some bumps in the road like they went through during the regular season last year.
