A total of 11 Kansas City players did not participate in full workouts during Thursday’s voluntary OTA session.

The Kansas City Chiefs had seven players not in attendance for the sixth day of the team’s organized team activities (OTAs) on Thursday, as the club hosted the media for its one practice look of the week.

Here is the list of players not in attendance: wide receiver Hollywood Brown, defensive tackle Isaiah Buggs, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, defensive tackle Chris Jones, wide receiver Kadarius Toney, left guard Joe Thuney and cornerback Jaylen Watson.

Linebacker Leo Chenal, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi, defensive lineman Charles Omenihu (ACL) and wide receiver Xavier Worthy (hamstring) appeared at practice but did not wear helmets.

Buggs, Jones, Edwards-Helaire, Toney and Thuney were absent during the first media look at Day 3 of OTAs.

Buggs is currently involved in an off-the-field legal situation. It seems Jones practiced at least one day this week — according to the team’s official social media account. Thuney is continuing to work his way back from the injury he suffered in last year’s playoffs, and the same can be said for Omenihu.

Tight end Travis Kelce — who was not seen at practice on Day 3 — was present on Day 6.

As a reminder (and disclaimer), the 10 OTA sessions leading up to the mandatory minicamp (June 11-13) are voluntary, so there is no injury report. Media members are only invited to one practice per week, so it is challenging to glean definitive insight from an absentee list.

The Chiefs will visit the White House on Friday. The next and final media look at voluntary OTAs happens on Day 9, which is set for Thursday, June 6.
